About Karen McGregor

Karen McGregor, Founder and President of Power to Speak, is a communication expert, facilitating workshops and giving keynotes that inspire and transform participants.  An award winning-writer, she is the author of Sculpting the Business Body:  Strategies and Stories from Top Entrepreneurs, a book celebrating the courage, wisdom, relationships and communication skills of Canadian entrepreneurs.

Karen is a graduate of the Geoffrey X Lane Facilitation Training Program, and a licensed facilitator of the highly acclaimed workshop, “Become a Powerful Speaker.”  While being trained and mentored by Lane, speech coach to the 2010 Vancouver Olympic bid, Karen recognized her gift to inspire others to reach their full potential.  She is now most known as a delightfully authentic speaker who engages participants with her playful, professional, informative, and always entertaining presentations and workshops.  Because her ability to engage people is combined with a wealth of communications experience as a former award-winning sales manager, teacher (M.Ed.) and consultant, Karen’s audiences and workshop participants are inspired to step into their own Power to Speak and live their highest vision.



Karen has created and facilitated keynotes and workshops for entrepreneurs, corporate leaders, and those aspiring to reach their potential through self-awareness and communication skills.  She is also readily available in North America as a speech and presentation skills coach. 

Karen was recently nominated in 2 categories of the 2007 Langley Women of Excellence Awards; she was recognized as a Woman of Vision and as a candidate for Woman of the Year.  Karen lives in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, with her husband and two young sons.
